Ngong Ping 360 Skyrail
Ngong Ping Skyrail is a visually spectacular 5.7 km cable car journey with an impressive culturally themed village, travelling between Tung Chung Town Centre and Ngong Ping on Lantau Island, giving easy access to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue - the largest, seated, outdoor, bronze statue in the world! Happy Valley
Happy Valley Racecourse was built on reclaimed marshland, and the first races were held here in 1846. They have been extremely popular ever since. Today, the track is ultra-sophisticated with computerized betting and races broadcast live on gigantic screens. Night racing was introduced at Happy Valley in 1973 and was an immediate success. The extra revenue raised was used to build Hong Kong's second racecourse at Sha Tin in the New Territories, which opened in 1978.
Also visit the Hong Kong Racing Museum on spot.

The Peak and Peak Tram Ride
Hong Kong is rightly famed all over the world for the stunning views from Victoria Peak. The seven-storey Peak Tower, an all-in-one viewing, dining and entertainment centre offers the best view of Hong Kong! For active tourists, the jogging trail is a perfect place to do some exercises while immerse in the beautiful scenic view.
The Peak Tram ride is a funicular railway that carves a steep 373-metre swathe up the lush mountainside, to Victoria Peak. It is fun to see slanting buildings from the tram windows. The Peak Tram runs daily (7:00 am to midnight) at 10 - 15 minute intervals.

Nestled in Admiralty’s scenic Hong Kong Park, the Flagstaff Museum of Tea Wares offers an intriguing blend of colonial heritage and Chinese tradition. One of the first traditional-style temples built during the colonial era, Man Mo temple's magnificent external architecture reflects its historical roots. The temple is dedicated to the Taoist gods of Man (literature) and Mo (martial arts). There is also a statue of Pau Kung, the god of justice, and another of Shing Wong, the god of the city. The plaques near the entrance give an interesting perspective on the history of the temple and its gods. Inside, the air is thick with aromatic smoke from the coils and incense sticks that are said to carry prayers to the spirit world.

Temple Street
Hong Kong's most famous open-air market opens at 2:00 pm but really comes to life at dusk, with a bustling array of stalls selling everything from watches and leather ware to clothing and souvenirs. Other attractions include fortune-tellers and occasionally, Cantonese opera singers. Temple Street is in Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon.

Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery
Situated in Lantau Island, the majestic figure of the seated Buddha (or Tian Tan) is 34 metres high, was cast in China and took 10 years to complete. Weighing 220 tonnes, it was unveiled in 1993 amid deep religious ceremonies.
Besides attracting Buddhists from all over Asia, the magnificent figure with its compelling presence almost instantly transformed the remote Po Lin Monastery with its devout monks into a must on tourist schedules.

Tram and Ferry Ride
Hong Kong tram was found in 1904 and a tram ride is a relaxing way to see Hong Kong. It has witnessed the development of the city, and the tram remains an efficient and the most economical mode of public transport in Hong Kong. Only runs on the Hong Kong Island, it is the world's largest fleet of double-deck tramcars still in service.

- Walk across the pedestrian cross road outside Cosmopolitan Hotel, a tram stop can be found in Wong Nai Chung Road. Fare: HK$2.00 / US$0.25 each.
- Another fascinating way to see Hong Kong at sea is to aboard the Star Ferry which has over 100 years of history and was found in 1898. Runs between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central, and also between Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai, a Star Ferry ride will definitely give you a comfortable way to see the Victoria Harbour in day and at night. The Stanley Military Cemetery and Murray House
The Stanley Military Cemetery is a triumphant and uniquely peaceful place to visit. Originally the final resting ground for the UK Garrison, the cemetery was closed for 70 years until 1941 when it was re-opened when Hong Kong was attacked during the Second World War.

Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui
The old Clock Tower near the Star Ferry concourse in Tsim Sha Tsui has over 90 years of history and is a landmark of the bygone era of the Age of Steam. With its distinctive design in red brick and granite, the tower is a reminder of those Colonial times. But over many years it had far greater significance for the Chinese in which the former terminus was the final stop on their rail journeys from villages in their homeland to new lives either in Hong Kong or by ship to distant destinations overseas.

2008 Olympic and Paralympic Equestrian Event in Hong Kong
Now you can experience the ambiance of Olympic here in Hong Kong! The Olympic Equestrian Events will be held in Shatin and Beas River (in Sheung Shui) from 9th August 2008 to 21st August 2008 while The Paralympic Equestrian Events will be held in Shatin on 7, 8, 10 and 11, September 2008.
For transportation, visitors are recommended to travel by MTR and interchange by free shuttle bus from University Station (to Shatin) and Fanling Station (to Sheung Shui).
