Travelling to Macau

Visas are available on arrival to Macau at the Immigration Services for up to a period of 30 days. All visitors entering Macau must hold a passport or a valid travel document valid for not less than 30 days from the day they entered Macau. Any other documents, including return air tickets, may be required for a successful Visa application, dependent on a case-by-case basis.

Types of Visa:

Individual	MOP$100, for an individual traveller for a single stay of up to 30 days in Macau. MOP$50 for children under 12 years of age.
Family	MOP$200 for couples, husband travelling with wife and/or children (under 12 years of age) with the same surname or on proof of their relationship.
Group	MOP$50 per person for bona fide groups of 10 or more and children aged 12 or under.

Visas are required by all visitors EXCEPT:

United Kingdom	Stay up to 6 months
Nationals of Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Cabo Verde, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Mali, Malta, United Mexican States, Mongolia, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania	Stay up to 90 days
Andorra, Australia, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Czech, Egypt, Estonia, Hungary, Commonwealth of Dominica, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kiribati, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Monaco, Namibia, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, U.S.A	Stay up to 30 days
The "Hong Kong Identity Card" (with symbol "", "**" or "R"), "Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card" or "Hong Kong Re-entry Permit" holders.	Stay up to 1 year
Holders of Diplomatic Passport or "Laissez Passer" issued by the United Nations	No restrictions
Holders of Consulate/Diplomatic documents issued by the Macau SAR	No restrictions
